Cherry tomatoes are a perfect antidote to cold weather. They make you think of summer—a memory I can use right now since we just had a hail storm in normally sunny California.
If you are lucky enough to find a box of cherry tomatoes in the produce department, here are 5 things you can do with them today:
1) Toss them in a salad.
2) Scatter a handful of them on a homemade pizza before baking
it.
3) Cut them in half and add them to Angel Hair Pasta with
Marinara Sauce just before serving.
4) Pop them in the freezer until frozen and then store in
a freezer bag for up to 6 months. Defrost at room temperature before using.
5) Treat them as a snack and eat them now,

Great suggestions! I like halving them and tossing with mozzarella pearls (also halved), chopped fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette.
